FRANKEN STOKER edition by Brad Dennison Literature Fiction eBooks

By the bestselling writer of "The McCabes." A supernatural story for those who don't like supernatural stories. Franken is a patchwork man, and Stoker is a vampire, and they have been best buddies for the past 130 years. They have worked as bounty hunters and ranchers, and have fought just about every kind of creature of the night there. is. Now they work as private eyes in a small New England city. They are at their office after a night of trying to pick up women and being shot at—a typical night for them—when a woman walks in. All leg and curves and with a killer smile, and with a killer of a problem. It seems her husband is a werewolf. And he wants her dead. To make matters worse, Franken finds himself falling in love with her. But is everything with her as it seems?
EARLY REVIEWS
As a writer, I'm pretty (VERY) picky about what I read. I've been an avid Stephen King (constant) reader most of my life and rarely read anything by other authors. I recently purchased King's "Doctor Sleep" and was about 60 pages into it when I came upon "Patchwork Man".
This work pulled me in from the very first page, and kept me hopelessly entranced until the end. I was actually sad that it was "done" when I read the final page. I can't, and don't, say that about many books I read. This story has all the elements that one would hope for in a novel well developed characters, a well-woven plot, humor, love, action -- you name it, it's all there.
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in this genre. – Steven K. White, author of KNIGHTMARE
Not particularly a reader of this type of book, I found it to be a good read and could not put it down until I had finished reading the story – Loretta K. Yike
I dig supernatural stories and this one did not disapoint. The writing was fun, the pace swift and the jokes plentiful. My only complaint is that I read it too damn fast. – John West

It has been a while since I have indulged in reading a good paranormal book. Boy, did I hit on one of the best. This book will keep you captivated till the end. It hits all the buttons in the paranormal world. It almost makes you believe these type people exist. They show a lot of regular human frailties, thats what makes them so life like. Brad Dennison is one of my favorite authors and he sure did not disappoint. READ AND ENJOY, you will not be sorry. Lavonne JonesProduct details

FRANKEN STOKER edition by Brad Dennison Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I'm not much on the type of characters in this story. Doesn't appeal to me! The writing is up to Brad's level though which appeals to me!
Reminds me of the days of Harry Dresden, lots of great similarities which are fun if you liked the Dresden novels. Best of all a reasonable author with reasonably priced books. I can read this guy forever happily! Don't miss an opportunity to have fun reading this set of books. This was my first but certainly won't be my last...
Tremendous story line. The characters were great, I really enjoyed Vic. and Stoker. This was a different twist on a paranormal story. I liked the different paranormal creatures, it gave the plot more interest. I think I could even see Vic and Stoker working on more cases together, they have a certain chemistry that just works! I liked the writers light banter between the main characters. I hope to see more about Stoker and Vic.
Don't normally read about vampires. But having read everything else by author, felt desire to try it. Quite a change from the westerns he normally writes.
Honestly I liked it it alot. Vic and Stoker were awesome, my kind of guys. While I love his western stories, I would enjoy more of this. These two guys would make a great series.
Franken & Stoker are my kind of gumshoes. They attack their cases with some hidden strengths. One is a patchwork man and the other is a vampire and they take on a case that involves werewolves; just another day at the office. The dialogue is crisp, the action is fast and the characters are unique. The worst part about finishing this book is not knowing if there will be a sequel. I very much hope so. Brad I can see this as a new series on The CW.
I have been such a fan and have read all of your books.I just cannot get into Wolves and Vamps. I really forced myself to finish it. The sooner you go back to writing your westerns the better. Please go back to your Westerns. 🤔
Different than any other Dennison I've read. Paronormal story is not my thing. Still it was written with flair of a good story teller. The caring and friendship of the two main characters was evident. It was a little difficult to follow the secondary characters as you didn't know if they were friend or foe. I gave it a 4 star because in some places the story dragged and i had to skip some paragraphs. Still I would recommend this book to those who like to read paronormal stories. ,
